Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

CODELO (“CODELO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website codelo.agency (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or interact with the Site, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

CODELO is a digital product development agency providing web, mobile, AI, and chatbot development services. This Site is our public informational website through which visitors can learn about our services, read our blog, and get in touch with us. For any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you can reach us at main@codelo.agency.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, including the contact form, blog, and any other pages hosted on codelo.agency.

It does not apply to information you may share with us through other channels (for example, email, messaging apps, or in-person meetings) once a client engagement begins — such information is governed by the terms of the applicable service agreement or statement of work, not by this Policy.

It also does not apply to third-party websites that may be linked from the Site; we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us directly. When you submit our contact form, you provide your full name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Site our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through standard server and hosting logs and is used for security, troubleshooting, and to understand aggregate Site usage.

Cookies and similar technologies. See the “Cookies and Similar Technologies” section below for details.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, financial account, or government ID information) through the Site, and we ask that you do not submit such information through our contact form.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your messages, questions, and service inquiries;
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and performance;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use the information collected through the Site for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis for processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR), we rely on the following:

  • Consent — when you voluntarily submit the contact form;
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to respond to inquiries about our services;
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site currently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function — for example, cookies that keep our administrative dashboard secure for authorized team members. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on the public Site.

If we introduce analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, request your consent before doing so and provide a way for you to manage your preferences.

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the Site.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who support our operations, such as hosting providers, cloud storage and database providers, and email delivery services, solely to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf;
  • Professional advisors, such as legal or accounting consultants, where necessary;
  • Authorities or third parties, where required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to a valid legal process;
  • A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same or equivalent privacy protections.

Any third party we share information with is required to safeguard it and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared.

8. Data Retention

We retain information collected through the contact form only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Automatically collected technical/log data is retained for a limited period consistent with our hosting and security needs.

9. International Data Transfers

Our team and the service providers we work with may be located in different countries. As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than the one in which you reside. Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information;
  • Object to or request that we restrict certain processing;
  • Request a portable copy of information you provided to us;
  • Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at main@codelo.agency. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

12. Notice to California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect and the right to request deletion of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may exercise your rights by contacting us at main@codelo.agency.

13. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

14. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including client and partner project websites referenced in our portfolio. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page; your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

16. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact us at main@codelo.agency.
